Daphne Wins the Best Female Artiste in Central Africa 2018 at AFRIMA

Cameroonian Afro-pop artist Daphne Njie won the award of best Female Artist in Central Africa. Speaking after the event, the laureate said the award is a dream come true.
She was upbeat that the award will open more doors of opportunity for her, especially at a time when her entertainment services are solicited by all and sundry.
To her, music “is my life and passion, so I believe I’m getting there slowly but surely.”
While other renowned artists like Wizkid, a Nigerian hip-hop star won Song of the Year with his hit song titled ‘Soco’, the likes of Fally Ipupa carried the night with three prestigious awards.
The AFRIMMA Awards is an event organised in the Diaspora that caters for all musical genres including but not limited to sounds such as Afro-Beats, Assiko, Bongo, Coupe Declae among others.
Daphne beat out fellow artists who were up for the Award such as:
